MATHILDA #162 (アザラク, Azaraku?) is a snooty kangaroo villager in the Animal Crossing series who has made an appearance in every game. She has the fitness hobby.
Her name relates to "Waltzing Matilda," a popular song in Australia, where kangaroos come from. Her initial catchphrase, "wee baby," refers to a joey, which is a reference to her joey, which she carries with her.
Her Japanese name, Azaraku, may possibly allude to the Japanese word 痣 aza; bruise (referring to the purple markings on her body). Azaraku can also refer to "Eko Eko Azarak," a Wiccan chant referred to the "Witch's chant" performed on Samhain.
