VESTA #190 (メリヤス, Meriyasu?, meias medias) is a normal sheep in Animal Crossing series that appears in all versions of the Animal Crossing video games. Her name comes from the piece of clothing vest, an item of clothing sometimes made out of the wool of sheep, her species, and possibly the Roman goddess of the hearth, Vesta, though this may be a coincidence. Her Japanese name, meriyasu, means "knitting". Her initial phrase, baaaffo is from the word baa, a word used to imitate the bleating of sheep. She has the fashion hobby.
