GWEN #125 (ポーラ, Pōra?, Paula) is a snooty penguin villager that has appeared in every game in the Animal Crossing series. Gwen's English localized name is a play on her species name: PenGUIN. Her initial phrase references the cold, as words are a stutter in cold temperatures. It is similar to Roald's, Cube's, and Aurora's catchphrases. She has the fashion hobby.
Gwen is a white and purple-ish penguin. She has a dark purple curl on the top of her head and large eyes with magenta eyeshadow and black prominent eyelashes. Her wings/arms are dark purple with white tips. Gwen's beak and feet are a yellow-orange color. She initially wears the Yellow Bolero in Animal Crossing, Wild World, and City Folk, and the Melon Gingham Tee in New Leaf. She carries the Lacy Parasol as her umbrella.
